Rice | 1.5 cup |
Carrots | ¼ cup |
French beans | ¼ cup |
Peas | ⅓ cup |
Onion | 2 big |
Tomato | 2 big |
Ginger paste | 1 tsp |
Garlic paste | 1 tsp |
Cumin seeds | 1 tsp |
Whole spices | 2 pc cardamom, 2pc clove, 3pc black pepper, 1pc bay leaf |
Biryani masala | 1.5 tsp |
Cooking oil as per choice | 3 tbsp |
Salt | 2 tsp or more as per taste. |
Procedure
Add 3 tbsp of oil in a cooker.
Add in cumin seeds and let it fry, add whole spices and fry for a minute more.
Add in chopped onions and saute for a minute. Now add in all chopped veggies until soft.
Add biryani masala to it, saute for 1 minute until the veggies have soaked in the masala.
Finally add washed rice with 3 cups of water. Pressure cook this for 3 whistles.
Once the cooker has cooled down completely, top it with fresh chopped coriander and serve warm.
