Veg Pulav

(serves 4-5)

Rice 1.5 cup
Carrots ¼ cup
French beans ¼ cup
Peas ⅓ cup
Onion 2 big
Tomato 2 big
Ginger paste 1 tsp
Garlic paste 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Whole spices 2 pc cardamom, 2pc clove, 3pc black pepper, 1pc bay leaf
Biryani masala 1.5 tsp
Cooking oil as per choice 3 tbsp
Salt 2 tsp or more as per taste.

Procedure

Add 3 tbsp of oil in a cooker.

Add in cumin seeds and let it fry, add whole spices and fry for a minute more.

Add in chopped onions and saute for a minute. Now add in all chopped veggies until soft.

Add biryani masala to it, saute for 1 minute until the veggies have soaked in the masala.

Finally add washed rice with 3 cups of water. Pressure cook this for 3 whistles.

Once the cooker has cooled down completely, top it with fresh chopped coriander and serve warm.
