SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY

1. Shipment of products

a. The Great Indian Spicery (“TGIS”) ships all consignments through third party logistic companies.

b. Purchases are shipped from our own or third party warehouses/ stores or offices in Thane, Maharashtra – 400613. Our endeavor is to make the products reach you within 4-7 days under normal circumstances from receipt of order and payment. Order deliveries will be made usually between 9am – 9pm from Monday to Sunday. There might be slight variations depending on the policy of our logistic partner.

c. Our courier partners shall deliver your between 9am to 9pm on weekdays. As soon as the package is dispatched, we will intimate your order tracking details through on registered e-mail.

d. We take no responsibility for goods signed by an alternative person other than the person ordering the product at the address indicated at the time of the order.

e. Since the transactions are authorised by the card holder, we do not take responsibility for incorrect addresses provided at the time of placing the order. The delivery will NOT be redirected / redelivered to any other address in any circumstance.

f. Shipping Charges for all orders will be notified and added to the total order value at the time of placing the order. TGIS reserves the right to charge and/or not charge shipping from time to time and the same will be updated on the website as per the Company without any prior notice.

2. Delivery Charges

Shipping and handling rates may vary based on product, packaging, size, volume, type and other considerations. The shipping and handling charges are given at the time of check out and consumers will know about this before making payments.

3. Return Process

a. Please raise a Return Request within 48 hours of delivery by calling our Customer Service at +91 9167061471 (Monday - Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM) or mail us at info@thegreatindianspicery.com. You can also submit your return request by signing into 'My Account' and filling the 'Submit a Support Request' form, to initiate the return process.

b. You will be asked to mail a good quality picture of the received product clearly depicting the issue (in case of damage/defect/incorrect product) along with your order details to info@thegreatindianspicery.com. Our quality assurance team shall check the details in reference to its eligibility of return.

c. We shall get back to you with your return request status within 2-3 days of receiving your request mail with pictures. Once your return request has been accepted, we will arrange a reverse pick up for the product in question. It usually takes about 2-3 working days for organizing a pickup and 7-10 days for delivery at our warehouse.

d. Once the merchandise is back at our warehouse, you shall be provided with a store credit on your registered email address. The store credit shall be used within a period of 3 months from the date of credit.

4. Points to Remember

a. Product must be returned with the original packaging along with invoice.

b. Product should be unused and in the original condition.

c. Product can be returned for a store credit or a refund, processed within 7 days of receiving the merchandise in our warehouse.

d. We reserve the right to do a thorough quality check of the product before issuing a refund. Given the nature of our products, we reserve the sole discretion to provide the resolution to any situation as we deem fit. Each return or exchange request is handled on a case by case basis and we request you to get in touch with our team for prompt resolution.

5. Storage and use of Product

a. You are requested to follow the instructions provided on the product label to store the product. If the product has a quality issue due to non-compliance of the instructions on the product label, we shall not be held liable for its expiration before due date and we shall not accept the return of such product.

b. You are requested to intimate us in the event the packaging is damaged and/or the seal is broken and ensure not to use the product thereof.

6. Cancellation

Orders once placed, cannot be cancelled.
